Welded heat exchangers provide excellent performance in conditions with a small temperature difference of less than 1°C (2°F). TRANTER MAXCHANGER welded heat exchangers are not only more durable, but also more efficient. This is their main advantage over shell-and-tube heat exchangers. The unique protruding plates in combination with the counterflow provide extremely high U or K values, immediate thermal reaction and a small temperature drop of less than 1°C (2°F). High turbulence prevents clogging and clogging, which causes energy losses and requires disassembly of shell-and-tube heat exchangers for cleaning.
